RBS inspects, maintains, repairs, alters, modifies and preserves all real property facilities and their components and all installed equipment, equipment-in-place and other associated equipment and furnishings normally maintained with real property using the latest industry standards, Government technical manuals, Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

RBS has a Buildings and Structures Maintenance Plan which describes the approach, recurring frequencies and tasks for the systematic care, servicing, preservation, repair and inspection of buildings, structures and systems and addresses the methodology for record keeping and reporting. We believe that an effective PM program will reduce the number of service calls we receive and includes the Building Manager, Government Quality Assurance Representative and the RBS Project Manager.

Our O&M plans are reviewed and updated semi-annually and electronic copies are furnished to the COR and QAE for review and files. RBS is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing roads, walkways, walls, columns, elevated slabs and loading docks, interior and exterior cladding, load bearing and non-load bearing masonry, small structures, chimneys, piers and columns, accessories, anchorages and reinforcing, metal fabrications and components of all buildings and structures, the wood, plastic and composite features of all facilities and structures, thermal and moisture protection features of all exterior/interior of buildings and structures, roofing, siding and fiberglass panels, flashing and sheet metal, fire and smoke protection, joint systems and similar items.
